First Eagle is seeking a Senior Legal Specialist to join the Legal team. The successful candidate can be based in New York City, Chicago, Columbus or Boston.Responsibilities Participate in preparation and review of materials for Board and Shareholder meetingsResponsible for compiling, organizing and maintaining the legal and compliance documentation for registered funds in accordance with SEC regulationsParticipate in preparation of registration statement filings and related regulatory materials, and coordinate with internal business unitsLiaise with various service providers to ensure appropriate filings and regulatory requirements are metCollaborate on calendar to track registered fund deliverables and ensure deadlines are metWork on records management, entity management, and structure chartsSupport mergers and acquisitions and corporate transactionsFacilitate regulatory matters for non-US officesCoordinate and provide administrative support for various strategic corporate initiativesDeliver high-level paralegal/legal specialist assistance and project support to internal lawyers as neededIdentify and implement improvement opportunities across business segments and initiatives to enable our legal processes, tools and technologies (i.e., assess usage of AI for process improvements)Support various corporate initiativesQualifications Undergraduate degree with 8+ years of relevant experience at a law firm or financial servicesExperience with investment company and general corporate workExperience with the EDGAR filing processProficiency in drafting and reviewing offering documents and similar disclosure materialsProven ability to work directly with clients, external parties, and cross-functional business unitsExcellent verbal and written communication skills and proofreading skillsHigh standards, personal accountability, and a detail-oriented approach to complex tasksExperience and confidence to work in a growth environmentAptitude to handle multiple, disparate tasks with resilienceSolution-oriented mindsetSelf-motivated professional capable of working independently while maintaining a collaborative team spiritStrong computer skills (familiarity with document management systems and electronic meeting material systems is a plus)Benefits Generous paid time-offMedical/dental/vision healthcare plans401(k) retirement and profit-sharing plansFlexible/hybrid work environment“Dress for the day” flexible work attireOther great benefits – for more information, please refer to our First Eagle Benefits websiteBase Salary range: $125,000 to $180,000.
