Senior / Lead Platform Engineer (Remote - U.S. Based)

Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and manage robust cloud platforms, applications, integrations, and infrastructure.
- Build scalable, secure, and resilient platform solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Design and deploy automation strategies to streamline operations and enhance user experience.
- Oversee cloud infrastructure health, monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting complex technical issues.
- Develop and maintain advanced CI/CD pipelines and enforce DevOps best practices.
- Implement and uphold security controls, IAM standards, and access management.
- Produce technical documentation and operational procedures; create training materials.
- Lead modernization, migration, acquisition, and platform integration initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to capture requirements and design technical solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Required Skills and Experience
- 7+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or DevOps.
- Advanced expertise with AWS and HPE GreenLake.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud technologies, infrastructure automation, and DevOps.
- Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
- Strong hands-on skills in IAM and access management technologies.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Harness, AWS CodePipeline).
- Advanced scripting/automation using Python, Bash, or Shell scripting.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication abilities.
- Deep understanding of networking, hosting, and application infrastructure.
Preferred Skills
- Expertise with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
- Advanced AWS IAM policy and permission model design.
- Experience implementing federated AWS access and identity providers.
- Familiarity with AWS security auditing, access reviews, and monitoring platforms.
- Cloud platform certifications (AWS preferred).
- Prior leadership or mentorship experience.
