About the Role:
The Senior Intelligence Analyst serves as a key member of the Federal Reserve Bank's Law Enforcement and Security organization and is responsible for identifying, collecting, evaluating, analyzing, and disseminating intelligence concerning threats that could adversely affect Federal Reserve personnel, facilities, operations, assets, information, executives, visitors, or mission-essential functions.
The Intelligence Analyst transforms information from law enforcement, government, commercial, open-source, internal security, and other authorized sources into timely, actionable intelligence that enables leadership to make informed risk-based security and operational decisions.
The position maintains situational awareness of emerging and persistent threats affecting the Federal Reserve Bank, its Branches, Federal Reserve System operations, financial-sector critical infrastructure, and relevant geographic areas of responsibility. Threat areas may include criminal activity, terrorism and violent extremism, targeted violence, workplace violence, cyber-enabled physical threats, insider threats, civil disturbances, geopolitical developments, threats to executives and employees, suspicious activity, critical infrastructure disruptions, natural hazards, and other events capable of affecting continuity or security operations.
The Intelligence Analyst serves as an intelligence liaison among Law Enforcement, Business Continuity, Crisis Management, Information Security/Cybersecurity, executive leadership, Federal Reserve System partners, and appropriate local, state, federal, and private-sector security and intelligence organizations.
The position supports the Federal Reserve's broader mission by providing a safe environment for people, while protecting Bank premises, operations, and assets. through proactive threat identification, intelligence assessment, warning, and information sharing.
