Lab Technician / Senior Lab Technician
Pay Rate: $33.00–$35.00/hour
Location: Princeton, NJ
Schedule: First Shift | Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (Flexible start and end times)
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Lab Technician / Senior Lab Technician to support Technical Development projects within the Perfumery & Beauty Division. In this role, you will assist with fragrance and technology development projects for the Air Care category by conducting laboratory testing, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory testing on fragrance samples for performance and stability.
- Ensure fragrance delivery standards for air care products are met and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Support scientific studies and method development initiatives.
- Collaborate with Perfumers, Fragrance Development Managers, Account Teams, and
- Sample Labs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant laboratory workspace following good laboratory practices (GLP).
- Record laboratory data, prepare reports, and present findings.
- Prioritize multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
- Support team members during high-volume workloads.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical
- Engineering, Food Science, or a related scientific field.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on laboratory experience.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and time management abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Preferred:
- Previous experience within a Perfumery or FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods)
- environment.
- Strong understanding of chemistry principles.
- Senior Lab Technician candidates should have 5+ years of laboratory experience.
