Drive Learning Programs and Results: Lead needs assessments and oversee onboarding, technical training, job-skills development, and leadership programs. Use assessments, program data, and stakeholder feedback to evaluate effectiveness, business impact, and opportunities for improvement.
Lead Projects and Stakeholder Engagement: Guide complex learning initiatives from discovery and requirements gathering through implementation. Partner with business leaders, operations, HR, subject-matter experts, clients, and external organizations to clarify requests, align priorities, manage change, and deliver practical solutions.
Develop and Lead the L&D Team: Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop learning professionals across geographically dispersed locations. Set clear expectations, promote accountability, and build the team's capability to meet business needs.
What You'll Need
Bachelor's degree in learning and development, education, human resources, organizational development, business, or a related field preferred. An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered. Master's degree preferred.
8 to 12 years of progressive experience in learning and development, training, organizational development, talent development, or a related field. Experience leading enterprise or multi-site onboarding, technical training, or leadership-development programs is preferred.
At least 5 years of formal people-management experience, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and employee development. Experience leading geographically dispersed or multi-site teams is preferred.
At least 5 years leading complex projects or programs from discovery through implementation, including stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, cross-functional coordination, risk management, and successful delivery.
Knowledge of adult learning, instructional design, facilitation, assessment, program evaluation, and learning operations. A professional certification such as CPTD, CPTM, PMP, or a comparable credential is preferred.
Ability to influence across functions and organizational levels, build alignment among stakeholders, and communicate complex or sensitive information clearly.
Experience presenting recommendations and results to senior leaders is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends, translate data into actionable insights, and manage multiple priorities in a changing environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with learning management systems, e-learning authoring tools, and virtual-learning platforms is also required.
Ability to travel up to 30% based on business needs.
