Job Summary We are seeking an experienced
Senior Java Frontend Developer with strong expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly
Angular, to design and build scalable, high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate will play a key role in migrating legacy JSP-based applications to modern micro frontend architectures.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable frontend applications.
- Lead migration efforts from JSP to Angular-based architecture.
- Build reusable components and libraries for enterprise-scale applications.
- Implement micro frontend architecture and module federation.
- Ensure high-quality code through testing, documentation, and best practices.
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve complex technical issues.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including backend, QA, and DevOps.
- Mentor junior developers and promote technical excellence.
- Identify and reduce technical debt in existing systems.
- Ensure security best practices are integrated into development lifecycle.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 9+ years of experience in designing and developing large-scale production applications.
Technical SkillsFrontend Development- Strong experience with JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
- 3–4+ years of hands-on experience with Angular
- Experience with state management libraries (NgRx / Redux)
- Knowledge of micro frontend architecture and module federation
- Experience with Web Components
Testing & Build Tools- Experience with testing frameworks: Jest, Jasmine, Mocha, or Cypress
- Familiarity with build tools like Webpack
- Exposure to AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot)
UI Development- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3
- Experience with responsive design
- Familiarity with CSS preprocessors (SASS / LESS)
Nice-to-Have Skills- Web performance optimization (lazy loading, reducing HTTP requests)
- Understanding of UI/UX principles
- Knowledge of SEO best practices
- Experience with web accessibility standards
