Title: Senior Java Developer
Locations: Philadelphia, PA - 100% ONSITE
Duration: 6 Months
Pay Range: $45 - $50/Hour on W2/C2C (All inclusive)
Introduction
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-grade applications using Java Spring Boot, Angular, and Cloud Native technologies. This role requires collaboration with business stakeholders, product teams, and engineering teams to design scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions while driving AI-assisted development practices and cloud-native architecture adoption.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8-10 years of experience in software development and architecture
- Strong hands-on development expertise with Java, Spring Boot, and Angular
- Experience with cloud-native platforms such as PCF/Tanzu Application Service
- Exposure to modern AI ecosystems and practical experience leveraging GitHub Copilot
- Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with cloud consulting and FinOps
- Knowledge of AI-powered capabilities and LLM-based solutions
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable, resilient, and secure enterprise applications
- Develop and maintain microservices-based applications using Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs
- Deploy and manage applications on cloud-native platforms
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps
- Mentor developers and guide technical best practices
