Description

Our client, an IT Services and Consulting company, is looking for a Senior Java Developer for their Monroeville, PA location.
 
Requirements:
  • Skill Set: Java, Spring Boot Microservices, Spring Cloud, Messaging & Event-Driven Systems (e.g., Kafka), and DevOps technologies (e.g., Kubernetes)
  • Experience: 10+ years
  • We are looking for a Senior Java Developer who can independently own end-to-end delivery responsibilities and collaborate effectively across multiple stakeholders.
  • This is not a purely execution role — the candidate should be confident driving technical decisions, leading discussions, and being the go-to person for the project team.
  • Java strong hands-on development experience; ability to design, build, and review Java-based applications
  • Spring Boot microservices development, REST API design, and integration pattern
  • 10+ years of software development experience with Java and Spring boot as primary
  • Proven ability to own modules or workstreams independently with minimal supervision
  • Comfortable engaging with multiple stakeholders — business, technical, and client-facing
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery environments
  • Strong communication skills — able to lead standups, contribute to design discussions, and give clear status updates
