Senior Java Developer

Our client, a IT Services and Consulting company, is looking for a Senior Java Developer for their Charlotte, NC/ Hybrid location.

Responsibilities:

• Code Development: Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code for both frontend and backend systems, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications that drive project success.
• User Interface Implementation: Implement and uphold cutting-edge user interfaces using React, ensuring an outstanding user experience through innovative design and functionality.
• Server-Side Development: Develop and enhance robust server-side applications using Nest.js, with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and security.
• Quality Assurance: Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to verify the quality and reliability of the code, ensuring high standards of software excellence.
• Debugging and Troubleshooting: Proactively debug and resolve issues throughout the entire stack, from frontend UI to backend services, ensuring minimal disruption to user experience.
• Version Control and CI/CD: Utilize version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/delivery tools to streamline development workflows and maintain code integrity.

Requirements:

• Years of experience required: 8-12
• Mandatory skills: Core Java PL/SQL AWS Spring, Springboot, microservices, kafka
• We are actively seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full Stack Developer with a strong emphasis on ReactJS for the frontend and Node.js (Nest.js/Express/Fastify) for the backend.
• The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with React, Node.js, Docker, AWS, and container orchestration technologies such as AWS Fargate, ECS, EKS, or Kubernetes.
• Experience with NestJS, Express, or Fastify is required.
• Applications that do not demonstrate this specific expertise will NOT be considered.
• In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining our web applications, ensuring seamless interactions between server-side components and user-facing interfaces that deliver exceptional user experiences.
