IDR is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Brentwood, TN. This role involves designing, developing, and supporting enterprise applications and integrations within a retail and e-commerce environment. The team works on in-house applications supporting PIN, coupons, buy backs, and pricing solutions, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, Agile setting.
Position Overview for the Senior Java Developer:
- Design, develop, enhance, and support enterprise Java applications and integrations.
- Work with modern front-end frameworks like Angular and React.js, alongside back-end Java development.
- Support containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot complex systems and implement scalable solutions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and technical design discussions.
Requirements for the Senior Java Developer:
- 7+ years of professional software development experience with significant hands-on Java expertise.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and object-oriented design.
- Experience developing and supporting batch-processing applications with Spring Batch.
- Experience developing REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise application integrations.
- Working knowledge of Angular, React.js, SQL, Docker, and Kubernetes.
