Senior Java Developer

Role Description We are looking for a strong full-stack hands-on Technologist with extensive experience in designing, developing and supporting applications using latest technologies and tools (Java/J2EE, Angular, SQL Server, Apache Solr, etc.). Strong hands-on experience in developing large-scale complex software solutions using Java/J2EE and related technologies and frameworks.

Salary Range: $40.00 - $42.00/Hour on W2 (Without Benefits).

Role Description

• We are looking for a strong full-stack hands-on Technologist with extensive experience in designing, developing and supporting applications using latest technologies and tools (Java/J2EE, Angular, SQL Server, Apache Solr, etc.).
• You will work closely with the global team to help build next generation applications/platforms supporting critical front office functions.
• You should be results oriented, comfortable working as part of an Agile team, and thrive on participating in the development of systems that are of high quality.

The Right Candidate

• A hands-on Technologist with 6+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing and supporting enterprise applications end-to-end.
• In-depth understanding and extensive experience in designing and developing complex web applications, using modern web application development technologies and frameworks.
• Strong hands-on experience in developing large-scale complex software solutions using Java/J2EE and related technologies and frameworks.
• Experience in developing web services using standard Java-based frameworks/toolkits (REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML).
• Experience in developing client-server, distributed, real-time applications using Java, J2EE, Spring.
• Good knowledge of Concurrency and high-volume server-side development.
• Good understanding of DB concepts and experience working on SQL Server (or other RDBMS).
• Adept at messaging protocols MQ and Kafka.
• Develop standards/practices that will increase DevOps, cloud adoption, and Agile.
• Experience in working with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular 2+ and frameworks such as Bootstrap – highly desired.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exposure to and good understanding of Finance/Banking domain – highly desired.
• Self-motivated individual and creative thinker who will take ownership of tasks and projects.
• Involvement in the full Software Development Life Cycle of the project.

Required Experience:

• Overall Experience Required is 6 to 8 years.
• Must Have 4–7 years in Advanced Java Concepts.

Primary Skills:

• Java/J2EE and related technologies.
• UI Technologies – Angular 2+ or other similar JavaScript-based UI frameworks – highly desired.
• Spring, MyBatis, Gradle, etc.
• MQ, Kafka.
• SQL Server (or any other RDBMS).
