Your future duties and responsibilities:

• ETL & Application Modernization: Transition legacy data workflows into scalable Spring Batch and Apache Spark pipelines hosted on cloud infrastructure.

• AI & Agentic Workflow Adoption: Integrate Generative AI, RAG models, and MCP tools into software platforms and developer workflows to improve operational efficiency.

• Event Driven Platform Scaling: Expand distributed architecture integrations using Kafka and API gateways across modern microservices.

• Cloud Infrastructure Optimization: Drive migration, deployment, and performance tuning efforts on AWS and Kubernetes ecosystems.

• Full Stack Application Development: Design and build microservices using Java/Spring Boot and user interfaces using React.js, Redux, and TypeScript.

• Data Pipeline Management: Construct and manage high volume data transformation flows across Snowflake, Apache Spark, and AWS Glue.

• API & System Integration: Configure and manage REST APIs, Kafka messaging topics, and API Gateway policies (Kong/MuleSoft) for multi system communication.

• Database Design & Tuning: Write and optimize SQL queries, secure views, and stored procedures across Oracle, PostgreSQL, and Snowflake databases.

• DevOps & CI/CD Support: Maintain automated build and deployment pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.

• SDLC Execution & Quality: Participate in Agile ceremonies, perform code reviews, draft technical design documents, and provide production support.
  

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Senior Technical Lead / Principal Engineer with 10+ years of overall IT experience leading cross functional engineering teams, designing full stack enterprise microservices, and driving platform modernization initiatives.

• Overall Technical Experience: 10+ years of experience in enterprise software development, architectural design, and full SDLC execution.

• Core Backend Architecture: 8+ years of hands on experience building enterprise microservices and applications using Python, Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch.

• Front End Engineering: 4+ years of hands on experience developing web applications using React.js, Redux, and TypeScript.

• Big Data & Data Pipelines: 4+ years of experience designing and managing scalable data pipelines using Apache Spark, Snowflake, and Apache Kafka.

• Cloud & DevOps Ecosystem: 3+ years of experience deploying and scaling containerized applications on AWS using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Generative AI & Agentic Tooling: 1+ years of practical, hands on experience integrating LLMs, RAG, or AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) into software workflows.

• Database & Data Modeling: 5+ years of experience writing complex SQL queries, views, and stored procedures across Oracle, PostgreSQL, or Snowflake.

• Modernization & Integration: Experience transitioning legacy ETL tools (such as Talend) to Spring Batch/Spark, or hands on exposure to Kong API Gateway and MuleSoft.

• Technical Leadership: 3+ years of experience mentoring junior/mid level engineers and guiding technical practices in an Agile/SAFe framework.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.

• Agile/SAFe Delivery: Experience operating effectively within Agile/Scrum or SAFe delivery methodologies in cross functional teams.

• Onshore/Offshore Collaboration: Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively across globally distributed engineering teams.

• Problem Solving & Adaptability: Proven ability to quickly learn, prototype, and implement emerging tech stacks (such as vector databases, Model Context Protocol, and agentic workflows).

• Technical Mentorship: Track record of mentoring junior team members on microservice design, modern UI patterns, and responsible AI augmented coding practices.
