This role involves leading and coordinating technology initiatives, ensuring successful execution of key activities, dependencies, and deliverables. The position requires a hands-on approach with a focus on project planning, meeting facilitation, and driving projects to completion.
- Lead projects of large size and/or high complexity, and/or multiple projects of mixed complexity levels and sizes.
- Provide support to one or more projects of high complexity as part of a program or portfolio team.
- Manage projects with budget responsibility up to USD 5 million, requiring matrix supervision of staff from other IT departments and divisions, and contractor/vendor resources.
- Achieve project objectives and completion on time, on budget, and in conformance to enterprise, departmental, and IT methodologies and practices.
- Solicit technological input from senior technical resources and facilitate technology problem-solving activities.
- Work directly with institutional committees and oversight bodies to develop project action plans and facilitate approvals.
- Support strategic planning and execution of multi-year initiatives involving multiple inter-relationships and complexities.
- Serve as a subject matter expert regarding project management practices, methods, and standards.
- Lead the ongoing adoption and continued evolution of a Project Focused Culture within the Information Technology department.
- Manage multiple competing objectives and communicate complex technical information clearly to management and end-user personnel.
- Strictly adhere to budget management and guidelines of both the Information Technology department and the institution.
- Perform additional job-related functions as detailed by immediate supervisor.

Ideal Candidate
- Extensive IT project management experience with a strong ability to operate independently while driving accountability across technical and business teams.
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in Oracle and UKG environments, with a solid understanding of system integrations and enterprise applications.
- Healthcare industry experience is a plus.
- Experience with Smartsheet is preferred.
- Technically minded and execution-focused, capable of navigating complex environments and keeping initiatives moving forward.
