Description

Summary:

  • Location: New York, NY
  • Duration: 6 Months
  • Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days per week in the office)
  • Working Days/Hours: Monday – Friday (40 hours per week)

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive project plan outlining project scope, objectives, timelines, budget, and resources.
  • Manage the project team to ensure all activities are completed on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
  • Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring the project stays on track and within budget.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, core team members, and extended project teams to ensure project goals are met.
  • Communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including senior management, project sponsors, and team members.
  • Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, ensuring effective and efficient use.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet required quality standards and that project processes are consistently followed.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, or budget, ensuring proper documentation and approval.
  • Ensure all project deliverables are completed and the project is closed out in a timely and efficient manner.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience.
  • Experience managing finance system projects is preferred.
  • Minimum experience with 5 full Project Life Cycles, preferably with multinational corporations.
  • Experience with both Waterfall and AGILE methodologies.
  • Expertise in using Project Planning Management tools.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) to convey information clearly and concisely to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve project goals.
  • Good time management skills to manage own time and the time of team members to meet project deadlines.
  • Problem-solving skills to effectively identify and resolve issues that arise during the project.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a proactive approach to tasks.

Preferred Skills:

  • Planview experience is required.
