Description
Kforce has a client in Coppell, TX that is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager.
Summary:
The Senior IT Project Manager will lead medium to large cross-functional technology initiatives. This role will partner with business and technology teams to drive projects from planning through implementation using Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional technology projects from initiation through delivery
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies, and status reporting
- Develop project plans and translate business requirements into actionable deliverables
- Facilitate project meetings and communicate status, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders
- Manage scope changes, project financials, testing, readiness, training, and deployment activities
- Ensure projects deliver against business objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality expectations
- Support PMO processes, reporting, and project standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and PMP certification preferred
- 5+ years of IT project management experience
- Experience leading cross-functional business and technology initiatives
- Experience with software development, SaaS implementations, systems integration, and/or process improvement projects
- Experience managing project budgets and resource plans
- Strong background with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methods
- Solid understanding of SDLC and enterprise technology delivery
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and risk management skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
