    Description

    Position Title: Contract IT Project Manager (PMP)
    Position Location: Atlanta, GA 30309
    Position Duration: 6 months
    Hybrid Work Schedule: 3 days in-office in midtown ATL; 2 days remote

    Seeking an IT Project Manager to support enterprise level IT and business projects. In this role you will be a member of the Project Management Office working closely with business executives, stakeholders, and the technology team. Responsibilities will include:
    • Create project plans with MS Project
    • Initiating and leading meetings and scheduling production events.
    • Manage resources, creating documentation and project tracking.
    • Working cross functionally to coordinate different project phases.
    • Work closely with vendors and internal teams on issue resolution and task completion.
    • Implementation planning, documentation, and execution.

    Required Qualifications:
    • 5 to 7+ years experience as a Project Manager/Program Manager/Portfolio Manager working on IT initiatives, including software development projects
    • Enterprise level technical project experience (SDLC required, experience with both SDLC and infrastructure projects is preferred)
    • Must have strong MS Project skills and able to build a project plan
    • Experience with a Portfolio Management Program, such as Planview is desired
    • Experience with Agile methodologies
    • PMP required
    • Experience with Jira is preferred
    • Strong presentation and communication skills
    • Ability to build relationships cross functionally
    • Ability to work on multitude of projects at one time
    • Strong organization skills and ability to juggle a variety of tasks, action-oriented/takes initiative
    • Very detail oriented with excellent documentation skills
