Senior, Investment Operations | Boston, MA

A Boston-based alternative asset manager is seeking a Senior-level candidate in Investment Operations to join its high-performing investment operations team. This role offers broad exposure across both public and private markets, supporting a diverse portfolio that includes private credit, private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, real estate, equities, fixed income, derivatives, and FX.

Compensation: $130,000-160,000

Key Responsibilities:

• Support treasury, liquidity management, FX trading, and funding activities
• Oversee third-party administrators and operational workflows
• Assist with trade execution, settlements, reconciliations, and investment reporting
• Support onboarding of new investments, strategies, and systems
• Drive process improvements through automation, technology, and operational enhancements
• Partner closely with investment, trading, finance, legal, and technology teams

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 6–9 years of investment operations experience
• Strong preference for candidates coming from a hedge fund or alternative investment environment
• Deep trade operations experience, particularly with derivatives, options, futures, and swaps required!
• Treasury and cash management experience is highly preferred
• Strong Excel skills
• Experience with Bloomberg, DTCC, and investment operations platforms preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
