Description
Responsibilities but not limited to:
Lead the review and development of comprehensive, innovative design solutions for H Mart's commercial and retail projects
Independently prepare, review, and manage full interior design packages, ensuring cohesive integration of finish materials, furniture, lighting, and signage
Oversee and draft building exterior designs and exterior signage elements to ensure a unified brand presence
Prepare, revise, and manage detailed construction drawing sets, navigating complex project requirements and A/MEP coordination
Proactively identify design and structural issues, adapting drawings and design elements based on changing site conditions, consultant feedback, and evolving internal directions

Participate actively in critical project meetings, design reviews, site visits, and construction coordination meetings across various locations
Elevate the design team's capabilities by reviewing the work of junior designers, providing clear, practical feedback, and guiding them through complex design problem-solving
Qualifications / Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field
4 to 7 years of hands-on experience in interior design, architecture, commercial space design, or retail design
High proficiency in AutoCAD and industry-standard 3D design software
Proven ability to independently prepare and rigorously review complete interior drawing packages and precise detail drawings
Ability to travel within the United States as project needs dictate (no disqualifying reasons for domestic travel)
Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean is highly preferred
