Bring your technical interior architecture expertise to a small, design-focused studio in North Bethesda, where high-end multifamily and hospitality projects demand both creative leadership and hands-on execution. This Senior Interior Architecture Designer opportunity blends concept-to-document delivery, FF&E support, and collaboration with firm leadership and contractors in a hybrid environment.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior Interior Architecture Designer position include:
- At least 10 years of relevant interior architecture or interior design experience.
- Bachelor’s degree
- NCIDQ certification preferred
- Independently deliver projects from concept and programming/layouts through schematic design, design development, FF&E, and construction documentation.
- Highly desired experience in high-end multifamily and hospitality interiors; provide a portfolio and technical work samples.
- Strong ability to personally produce technical drawings and coordinate with general contractors.
- Develop FF&E selections and supporting documentation.
- Lead concept development, programming, space planning, schematic design, and design development.
- Participate in site visits and assist with installations as needed, while managing priorities and deadlines.
Salary: $90,000-$110,000 per year.
Benefits: Health insurance with the company paying 50% of the employee premium, and a 3% company 401(k) contribution are provided.
