Job title: Senior Integration Engineer – IBM ACE/IIB & MuleSoft
Location: Raleigh, NC (Onsite and In-person Interview)
Contract: 8+ Months

Job Summary:

Our Client requires the services of a Senior Integration Engineer to provide hands-on support for client applications using IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) and MuleSoft.

The Client seeks a highly technical resources to serve as a Data Integration, API and ETL developer for creating real- time, on-demand, batch and scheduled data interfaces and processing between systems and applications, both internal and external.
This Integration/Interface engineer position must be very well organized and able to manage multiple technical, business and testing efforts. Duties include requirements gathering, designing, and implementing solution, and supporting go-live and post- implementation.
The Integration/Interface position has responsibility for providing hands-on development, design, implementation, and support of business solutions based on IIB/ACE technology and/or MuleSoft. Must have experience in latest version of IIB, i.e. App Connect Enterprise (ACE v11/12) and MuleSoft in architecture principles, system integration, technical sizing, high availability aspects, integration best practices. In addition to IIB/ACE experience, preference would be for candidates with experience in designing and developing integration solutions using MuleSoft.
Strong hands-on experience with IBM Integration Bus (IIB)/App Connect Enterprise (ACE) and/or MuleSoft or Boomi
Proficiency in Java and/or Python programming.
Experience with enterprise integration patterns, REST/SOAP web services, JMS, MQ, XML, JSON, and API development.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized application deployment.
Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure.
Solid understanding of system integration, enterprise architecture principles, technical sizing, scalability, and high availability.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and version control tools such as Git.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
In addition to IIB/ACE experience, preference will be given to candidates with experience designing and developing integration solutions using MuleSoft.
Experience with integrator/deployment tools such as TeamCity and various DevOps tools including SonarQube, deployment tools such as Ant/Maven, SCM tools like Bitbucket, and testing automation tools such as TOSCA and Selenium is also desired.

Required Skills:

Experience in data modeling, OLAP design, and implementation of APIs and ETL processes, procedures, and execution for data cleansing, and refreshes.
Experience with integration via web-services, API and ETL management.
Hands on design, development and implementation experience with IBM IIB/ACE or MuleSoft or Boomi
Strong technical experience in cloud and micro-services architecture.
Hands-on experience building integration patterns; processes; managing, deploying and supporting API's.
Hands on experience in Databases, PL/SQL and Linux.
Experience leveraging common frameworks such as message queuing, caching, complex mapping, branching, and parallel processing.
Strong understanding and knowledge of data formats JSON, XML, Flat Files (CSV, Fixed- Width).
Experience with troubleshooting & debugging.
Experience with AWS cloud platform
Proficiency in programming languages e.g., Java or Python
