    ITS is conducting a search for a Senior Instrumentation & Controls Engineer Lead to manage a team of engineers and designers in Austin, Texas.  

    Your Key Responsibilities
    • Lead and develop a team of engineers and designers in I&C systems.
    • Design and specify instrumentation and control systems for industrial and high-tech facilities.
    • Develop P&IDs, PFDs, loop diagrams, wiring schematics, and system designs.
    • Create logic diagrams and sequences of operation for system integration.
    • Oversee I&C system design from concept to construction, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
    • Interface with clients to manage scope, schedule, and technical delivery.
    • Mentor junior engineers and participate in site visits and commissioning support.
    • Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and client requirements.
    • Participate in proposal development and budget management.
    Qualifications
    • Strong leadership and project management skills.
    • Deep technical knowledge of I&C systems in industrial environments.
    • Effective collaboration and communication across multidisciplinary teams.
    • Experience in managing client relationships and delivering engineering solutions.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to mentor and develop junior staff.
    Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
    • 10 years of experience in I&C and electrical system design.
    • Experience in semiconductor, manufacturing, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, or biotech environments.
    • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred.
    • Knowledge of NFPA, UL, and ISA standards.
    • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM tools.
    • Experience with PLC programming, HMI/SCADA systems, and industrial communication networks.
    • Proven ability to lead projects and mentor junior staff.
