    Our Opportunity:

    Chewy is seeking a highly motivated, results-oriented, ambitious Senior Instock Manager to join our exciting and  fast-paced team in Equine, Farm, and Exotics. We need a business savvy and adept problem-solving leader, who can help us scale our  business and supply planning operations. In this role, you will develop an industry leading forecasting methodology  and planning capability for category or merchandising forecasts and leverage our systems to develop the demand & inventory plan. You will be responsible for purchasing strategy, Instock strategy, new vendor onboarding, existing  vendor lead time reduction, fill rate and on-time improvements, and more. A successful leader would be highlyanalytical, have a deep understanding of supply chain principals, be able to solve complex supply chain problems, and a keen learner who continues to innovate.     What You’ll Do:

    • Partner with technology and product teams to drive improvement in systems, tools and processes.

    • Successfully manage complex suppliers and influence them to improve supply chain performance guided by Chewy’s strategic objectives.

    • Lead multiple, large cross-functional projects and working groups.

    • Analyze multiple, large data sets to identify actionable insights that drive improvement across Chewy’s broader Instock organization.

    • Develop project white papers or project plans. Create larger written documents that require input from multiple cross-functional contributors.

    • Develop scalable solutions for your business that have application across Chewy’s broader Instock organization while defining new cross-functional processes.

    • Influence and negotiate with others to achieve win-win outcomes. Effectively interact with cross-organization leadership using written and verbal communication as needed.

    • Help to design, validate, and institutionalize best practices within the Instock organization.

    What You’ll Need:

    • 5+ years of relevant experience in Supply Chain or advanced degree in related field (General Management, Finance, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering)

    • Strong written, verbal, analytical and problem-solving skills and experience with statistical modeling

    • Proven experience and understanding of purchasing, forecasting, and inventory management

    • Solid Analytical tool kit including advanced proficiency with Excel and SQL

    • Track record of taking ownership and delivering results in data-driven environment

    Bonus:

    • Ecommerce experience

    • Tableau, R, Python, or KNIME experience

    • Experience with traditional Project Management

    • Lean/Six Sigma experience

     

     

    The base salary range for this role is $129,500 - $207,000.00.
    • The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant. C08+ positions may also be eligible for annual bonus.

    Exempt salary team members have unlimited PTO, subject to manager approval. Team members will receive six paid holidays per year. Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.
