Job Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to lead and deliver large-scale infrastructure transformation and migration initiatives for a leading healthcare organization. The ideal candidate should possess strong project management, stakeholder management, and technical coordination skills, with proven experience managing hardware, server, and application migration programs. The successful candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with business, infrastructure, and application teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Primary Duties May Include, But Are Not Limited To:
- Lead end-to-end infrastructure migration projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
- Manage hardware migration initiatives, including printers, audio/visual (A/V) equipment, and related infrastructure components.
- Coordinate server migration and application migration activities across multiple environments.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, resource plans, RAID logs, and status reports.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, infrastructure teams, application teams, security teams, and vendors to ensure alignment and successful execution.
- Facilitate project governance meetings, steering committee reviews, and executive-level status updates.
- Identify project risks, dependencies, and issues, and drive mitigation and resolution plans.
- Coordinate testing, cutover planning, deployment activities, and post-migration support.
- Ensure project documentation is maintained and updated throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage change requests and ensure adherence to organizational project management standards and processes.
- Track project milestones, deliverables, resource utilization, and financials.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders and provide proactive project communications.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 8+ years of Project Management experience, with a strong focus on Infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience managing hardware migration projects (printers, desktop equipment, A/V systems), server migration initiatives, application migration projects, and infrastructure modernization and transformation programs.
- Experience managing medium to large-scale enterprise infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of data center, server, network, endpoint, and application environments.
- Excellent project planning, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar platforms.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with business and technology leadership.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and third-party vendors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent Project Management certification.
- Experience supporting healthcare payer or healthcare provider organizations.
- Familiarity with infrastructure migration best practices, change management, and release management processes.
- Experience managing geographically distributed teams.
- Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery methodologies.
Mandatory Skills:
- Core Project Management: Infrastructure Project Management (8+ years), End-to-End Project Delivery, Stakeholder Management, Risk Management & RAID Management, Resource Planning & Project Scheduling, Executive Status Reporting, and Change Management.
- Infrastructure Migration Experience: Hardware Migration Projects (Printers, Desktop Equipment, Audio/Visual Systems), Server Migration Initiatives, Application Migration Projects, and Infrastructure Modernization & Transformation Programs.
- Technical Knowledge: Data Center Environments, Server Infrastructure, Network Infrastructure, Endpoint Management, and Application Environments.
- Tools & Technologies: Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, Jira, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams).
- Domain Experience (Preferred): Healthcare Payer and Healthcare Provider.
- Certifications (Preferred): PMP and PRINCE2.
- Methodologies (Preferred): Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid Delivery Methodologies.
- Additional Requirements: Cross-Functional Team Coordination, Vendor Management, Strong Written & Verbal Communication, Executive/Leadership Interaction, Ability to Manage Multiple Priorities in a Fast-Paced Environment, and Experience Working with Geographically Distributed Teams.
