Position Title: Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Waltham, MA (Onsite/Hybrid)

Duration: Long Term Contract

Job description:

Client is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to provide operational support, administration, troubleshooting, and knowledge transfer for a Microsoft-centric infrastructure environment. The resource will work closely with customer SMEs and support the transition of services from existing providers.

Basic Qualifications:

7+ years of Infrastructure Operations experience.

Required Skills:

• Strong Active Directory administration experience.
• Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 administration.
• Microsoft 365 Administration.
• Exchange Online administration.
• Group Policy management.
• DNS, DHCP, and Windows networking fundamentals.
• VMware or Hyper-V administration.
• Incident and problem management experience.
• PowerShell scripting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Azure Administration experience.
• SQL Server infrastructure support.
• Identity and Access Management knowledge.
• Experience supporting healthcare or insurance clients.
• ITIL Foundation certification.

Role and responsibilities:

• Administer and support Active Directory infrastructure.
• Manage user provisioning, group policies, security groups, and access controls.
• Provide Microsoft 365 administration and support.
• Support Exchange Online mailbox administration.
• Perform Windows Server administration, troubleshooting, and break/fix activities.
• Manage server health, system performance, and operational incidents.
• Support SQL Server environments from an infrastructure perspective.
• Collaborate with application owners and business stakeholders.
• Assist with infrastructure migrations and transition activities.
• Document operational procedures and support knowledge transfer.
• Provide onsite support during onboarding and transition phases.
