Senior Informatica ETL/Data Engineer (PowerCenter, Snowflake & Oracle)
Mode of Work:Hybrid 3 Days Onsite / 2 Days Remote | Must Currently Reside Within 50 Miles of Austin, TX
The Senior Informatica ETL/Data Engineer will design, develop, implement, and support enterprise data-integration solutions using Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica Cloud Data Integration, Oracle SQL/PL-SQL, and Snowflake.
The role requires extensive hands-on experience developing ETL/ELT workflows, mappings, sessions, transformations, data-ingestion pipelines, and batch-processing solutions. The engineer will also troubleshoot production pipelines, resolve data-quality and performance issues, and work with business and technical stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
Design, develop, and support enterprise ETL/ELT solutions.
Develop Informatica PowerCenter mappings, sessions, workflows, and reusable transformations.
Develop cloud-based integrations using Informatica Cloud Data Integration.
Ingest data from heterogeneous source systems.
Integrate flat files, APIs, relational databases, and mainframe extracts.
Load and transform enterprise data into Oracle and Snowflake environments.
Develop complex Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
Develop and maintain Oracle stored procedures and packages.
Perform ETL-related SQL and database performance tuning.
Develop Snowflake data-loading processes.
Support Snowflake schema design and query optimization.
Gather and analyze business and data requirements.
Develop source-to-target mappings and data-flow specifications.
Troubleshoot production ETL pipelines and job failures.
Identify and resolve data-quality issues.
Diagnose and resolve ETL performance bottlenecks.
Optimize mappings, workflows, SQL queries, and batch processes.
Support job scheduling and orchestration.
Monitor scheduled enterprise batch loads.
Analyze existing systems and identify data-processing improvements.
Develop technical and data-flow documentation.
Support production deployments and change-management activities.
Work within formal SDLC processes.
Collaborate with business analysts, database teams, application teams, and technical stakeholders.
Support SAP BusinessObjects Universe design or maintenance where applicable.
Minimum 8%2B years as a Data Engineer/Systems Analyst designing, developing, and supporting enterprise data-integration solutions.
Minimum 8%2B years of hands-on Informatica PowerCenter experience.
Strong experience developing:
Mappings
Sessions
Workflows
Reusable Transformations
Minimum 8%2B years ingesting data from heterogeneous sources, including:
Flat Files
APIs
Relational Databases
Mainframe Extracts
Minimum 8%2B years of strong Oracle SQL/PL-SQL experience.
Experience developing Oracle stored procedures and packages.
Experience tuning ETL-related Oracle queries.
Minimum 8%2B years of Snowflake experience, including data loading, schema design, and query-performance optimization.
Minimum 8%2B years with Informatica PowerCenter and/or Informatica Cloud Data Integration for cloud ETL/ELT.
Minimum 8%2B years gathering data requirements and performing source-to-target mapping.
Experience documenting data-flow and design specifications.
Minimum 8%2B years troubleshooting data-quality issues, ETL job failures, and performance bottlenecks.
Minimum 8%2B years using batch scheduling/orchestration tools such as:
Control-M
AutoSys
Informatica Scheduler
Minimum 3%2B years of SAP BusinessObjects Universe design and/or maintenance experience.
Minimum 3%2B years working within a state-government or large enterprise IT environment.
Experience following formal SDLC processes.
Experience with enterprise change-management processes.
Large-scale data migration and integration experience.
Cloud-based ETL/ELT implementation experience.
Enterprise data-quality and production-support experience.
Strong hands-on Informatica development expertise.
Strong Oracle SQL/PL-SQL and Snowflake capabilities.
Strong understanding of ETL/ELT architecture and data-integration patterns.

Must currently reside within a 50-mile radius of Austin, TX.
Must be willing to work 3 days onsite and 2 days remotely.
