Senior Industrial Maintenance Technician
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM–2:30 AM, with occasional Friday overtime
A day in this role
You arrive just before 4:00 PM, check the CMMS for open work orders, and scan the production schedule to prioritize. A conveyor drive is showing intermittent faults—you verify the VFD parameters, trace the electrical circuit against the schematic, and validate sensor inputs to the PLC. After restoring flow, you pivot to a planned PM: inspect bearings and belts, tension chains, lubricate moving parts, and log findings. Later, production flags a pneumatic actuator that’s lagging. You isolate energy via LOTO, test solenoids with a multimeter, replace worn seals, and bring the line back up. Before the shift ends, you coordinate with operations to slot a motor changeout for tomorrow, stage parts, and capture all work in the CMMS. Another night of uptime protected.
