We're partnering with an established industrial contractor looking for an Industrial Estimator who understands heavy industrial construction, mining operations, and what it takes to build accurate, competitive estimates.

We're looking for someone who can dig into the details, identify risks, find opportunities, and help turn complex projects into profitable work.

What You'll Be Doing

• Develop detailed cost estimates for heavy industrial construction and maintenance projects

• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to determine project scope

• Perform material takeoffs, labor calculations, and equipment pricing

• Estimate civil, structural foundations, steel erection, piping, and mechanical installations

• Evaluate bid opportunities, project risks, and potential value engineering solutions

• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing

• Prepare estimates for lump sum, design-build, and time-and-materials projects

• Utilize HCSS HeavyBid, Excel, and MS Project for estimating and scheduling

• Collaborate with operations and leadership to develop winning bid strategies

• Prepare technical proposals and manage submissions through bid deadlines

What You Bring

• 3–5+ years of heavy industrial or commercial construction estimating experience

• Understanding of construction, maintenance, and repair work in surface or underground mining environments

• Experience estimating civil, structural, mechanical, piping, or other industrial scopes

• Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts

• Experience with HCSS HeavyBid, MS Project, and Excel strongly preferred

• Background in Civil, Mechanical, Structural Engineering, or Construction Management preferred

• Strong understanding of labor, materials, equipment, and project cost drivers

• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines independently

• Must be located in Elko, NV
