Overview:
Nakupuna Resources is seeking a Senior Industrial Base Analyst to support a federal defense client. The selected candidate will provide analytical and strategic support for acquisition programs, industrial base initiatives, supply chain management, systems engineering, contracting, sustainment, and product support activities.

- Conducting analysis and providing data-driven assessments to the Government regarding the impact of M&A and divestitures on the DIB and Air Force programs.
- Assisting in identifying and assessing supply chain and industrial base vulnerabilities and providing analytical products to support Government-led mitigation strategies.
- Providing technical data and analysis to support the Government's justification of government-owned/contractor-operated (GOCO) industrial plants.
- Managing project schedules, tracking action items, and developing analytical products to assess the effectiveness of DIB-focused investments.
- Developing technical roadmaps, market strategies, and frameworks to integrate acquisition strategies with industrial base investments.
- Assessing current guidance and drafting proposed procedures and technical inputs for Air Force acquisition to address supply chain vulnerabilities.
- Sustaining, enhancing, and developing IT systems, tools, and data-warehousing capabilities (e.g., the Defense Industrial Base Company Insights (DIBCI) tool within PMRT) for collecting, processing, and analyzing DIB-related information.
- Providing technical support for integrating diverse government and commercial data sources (e.g., FPDS-NG, SAM.gov, commercial financial providers) to create a unified view of the industrial base.
- Evaluating and implementing Government-approved emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), to establish predictive analytics and identify supply chain trends.
- Developing and delivering training materials and conducting training sessions for Government personnel on the use and application of all developed IT systems and analytical tools.
Qualifications:
Skills/Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in defense industrial bases analysis, supply chain risk management, and industrial preparedness.
Education and Experience:
- 10 years of relevant experience; Air Force experience preferred
- Master's or Ph.D. (Economics, Finance, or related field)
- Certified Business Economist (CBE) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
Location: Full-time on-site at the Pentagon.
Clearance Requirements: Top Secret Clearance required. Must be U.S. citizen.
Physical Requirements: The ideal candidate must at a minimum be able to meet the following physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation:

The Nakupuna Companies use a market-based compensation strategy to ensure that our employees are compensated within applicable market ranges commensurate with multiple factors, including but not limited to the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements, and position location. The projected compensation for this position is $120,000.00 to $140,000.00 (annualized USD). The salary range displayed represents the typical range for this position and is just one component of Nakupuna Companies total compensation package for employees.
