    Description

    We are looking for an experienced Senior IBM Master Data Management (MDM) & Integration Developer with strong hands-on experience in IBM InfoSphere MDM Standard Edition (Virtual MDM) and Apache Kafka.

    The ideal candidate will have extensive enterprise application development experience and the ability to maintain, enhance, troubleshoot, and support mission-critical MDM applications.

    Required Skills

    • 8+ years of software development experience supporting enterprise-scale systems.

    • Strong hands-on experience with IBM InfoSphere MDM v14.x Standard Edition (Virtual MDM).

    • Experience with MDM data models, entities, transactions, batch processing, configuration, customization, and troubleshooting.

    • Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka.

    • Bachelor's degree required.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    Desired Skills

    • 8+ years of Java/J2EE development experience.

    • Java, JSP, REST and SOAP web services.

    • 5+ years of Linux/Unix experience.

    • Kafka producers, consumers, topics, configuration, and troubleshooting.

    • WildFly application server and batch processing.

    • IBM MDM and Kafka integration.

    • Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.

    • Bash scripting, PowerShell, and CRON jobs.

    • Git, GitHub, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.

    • AWS/Azure, OpenShift, and Kubernetes.

    • ELK / Elastic Stack monitoring and troubleshooting.

    • Flowable experience is a plus.

    • Healthcare domain experience is highly preferred.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Maintain, enhance, and support enterprise IBM MDM applications.

    • Troubleshoot production issues across MDM, Kafka, and WildFly.

    • Develop and maintain integrations and batch processing solutions.

    • Work with Linux/Unix environments and scripting.

    • Develop SQL queries and collaborate with database teams.

    • Participate in requirements gathering, technical documentation, testing, and deployment.

    • Support application monitoring, incident resolution, and production maintenance.

    • Coordinate with business, infrastructure, and technical teams.

    Work Location Requirements

    Hybrid position in Lansing, MI.

    • Mandatory onsite work every Monday and Tuesday starting from Day 1.

    • Candidates must be local or willing to relocate to Lansing at their own expense before starting.

    • No remote-only option.

    • Candidates must be available for a possible in-person second-round interview.
