Senior IBM i (AS/400 / iSeries) Systems Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• * Install, configure, administer, and maintain IBM i (AS/400) systems.
• * Perform IBM i operating system upgrades, PTF management, and system maintenance.
• * Monitor and optimize system performance, storage utilization, and capacity.
• * Configure and manage user profiles, security policies, and access controls.
• * Support backup, recovery, business continuity, and disaster recovery initiatives.
• * Manage job queues, subsystems, output queues, and workload performance.
• * Troubleshoot operating system, hardware, and application-related issues.
• * Support application development and deployment teams.
• * Implement automation and operational best practices.
• * Maintain technical documentation, standards, and procedures.
• * Participate in production support and on-call rotations.

• Required Skills & Experience

• * 5+ years of experience supporting IBM i / AS/400 environments.
• * Strong experience with:
