Senior IAM Engineer - 3638952

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Senior IAM Engineer position! This is a 6-18 months contract and will be remote working in the United States. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.

No C2C or subcontracting arrangements will be considered.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-wide Identity and Access Management solutions, supporting authentication and credential management across all customer touchpoints including loans, credit cards, bank accounts, commercial services, wealth management, and personal banking
• Build and maintain custom authentication journeys and interface platforms using vanilla JavaScript, integrating with vendor identity platforms (IDP) to deliver seamless customer login experiences
• Develop and maintain backend APIs using JavaScript and .NET wrappers that bridge vendor layers with core banking systems, ensuring secure and efficient identity management workflows
• Drive platform modernization initiatives by migrating identity infrastructure from on-premises OpenShift to Azure cloud environments using containerized microservices architecture
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines through GitLab, bringing an automation-focused mindset to streamline deployment processes
• Serve as a technical leader and subject matter expert on Customer Identity & Access Management protocols including OIDC, SAML, and core authentication/access management standards
• Direct and mentor less experienced engineers on complex projects, coordinating development tasks and ensuring adherence to development standards and best practices
• Analyze complex system interrelationships across integrated applications and platforms, providing strategic consulting on new technology implementations that support business objectives

What You'll Need to Have:

• Senior-level full-stack engineering experience with strong .NET background and JavaScript coding expertise, demonstrating ability to work autonomously and unblock yourself as requirements evolve
• Proven expertise in Customer Identity & Access Management with deep knowledge of OIDC, SAML, and core authentication/access management protocols (critical requirement)
• Demonstrated ability to build backend APIs using JavaScript and integrate complex vendor identity platforms
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud platforms and containerized microservices architecture, particularly migration from on-premises environments to cloud
• Strong DevOps capabilities with GitLab and CI/CD pipeline implementation, coupled with an automation-first approach to software delivery
• Experience in banking or highly regulated industries, understanding compliance requirements and risk management standards
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements and make sound architectural decisions independently
• Strong collaboration skills with experience coordinating across multiple technical and business teams while managing complex project deliverables

Pay Range: $70-78+/hr
