CGL is a trusted partner to justice and public-sector facilities across the U.S. and internationally. Through CGL Facility Management, LLC, we deliver comprehensive, contract-based building maintenance services to commercial and government clients.
As the Senior HVAC Systems Service Specialist (Rover), you will be the go-to expert for preventive and corrective HVAC work across multiple sites within your region. You’ll drive a company-provided vehicle between facilities, troubleshoot complex systems, complete precise CMMS documentation, and mentor teammates—keeping critical environments safe, comfortable, and compliant.
Your morning may start with reviewing CMMS work orders and planning your route to two facilities. By mid-day, you could be replacing belts on an air-handling unit, tuning a VAV box for proper airflow, and inspecting gas- and oil-fired water-tube boilers and auxiliary equipment (pumps, de-aerating tanks, air compressor blowers). In the afternoon, you might diagnose a controls issue, escort a subcontractor, verify code compliance, and log all work details in the CMMS—wrapping up by walking a junior tech through safe testing and measurement procedures.
Driving requirement: This position requires driving for the Company using either 1) a Company vehicle, at any frequency from Rarely to Constantly; or, 2) a Personal or Rental vehicle to conduct Company business more than 50% of the time to perform work duties.
A competitive salary is only one part of your total rewards. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, medical, dental, life and disability insurance, HSA/FSA accounts, retirement, rewards programs, and so much more!
