What You'll Do
As a Senior HVAC Service Technician, you'll be a trusted expert for customers, a mentor for developing technicians, and a key contributor to delivering exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, maintain, and service commercial HVAC and VRF systems
- Troubleshoot refrigeration circuits, controls, electrical components, and system performance issues
- Perform advanced diagnostics and develop effective repair solutions
- Support commissioning, startup, remediation, and optimization of HVAC equipment
- Review wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation to resolve complex issues
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly with customers and project stakeholders
- Complete service documentation accurately and maintain equipment records
- Coordinate parts procurement and ensure efficient job execution
- Mentor junior technicians through hands-on training and field leadership
- Collaborate with operations and service leadership to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction
- Maintain compliance with all safety requirements, manufacturer standards, and company procedures
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience
- Strong knowledge of HVAC equipment, refrigeration systems, controls, and electrical diagnostics
- Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Commitment to safety, professionalism, and continuous learning
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) systems
- EPA Certification
- Manufacturer certifications or advanced HVAC technical training
- Experience with building automation systems (BAS) and controls
- Previous leadership, mentoring, or lead technician experience
