Senior HVAC Project Manager – Design-Build Mechanical
Location: Kansas City Metro | Full-Time

We’re working with a long-standing, design-build mechanical contractor in the Kansas City market that’s looking to bring on a Senior HVAC Project Manager to lead large commercial and industrial projects.

This team handles everything in-house from engineering through fabrication and installation, so this role has full visibility and ownership across the entire project lifecycle.

What You’ll Be Doing:
• Lead HVAC scopes on ground-up commercial and industrial projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Manage full project lifecycle including budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, and execution
• Oversee multiple projects while maintaining schedule, cost, and scope alignment
• Work closely with internal engineering, fabrication, and field teams to drive execution
• Coordinate with owners, GCs, and design teams on scope, timelines, and deliverables
• Review contracts, RFIs, submittals, and change orders to maintain project control
• Lead project meetings and provide clear communication to all stakeholders
• Identify and resolve jobsite challenges proactively

What They’re Looking For:
• 8+ years of HVAC Project Management experience in commercial construction
• Strong background in new construction and large-scale mechanical systems
• Experience working in a design-build environment is a big plus
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and drive them to completion
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, installation methods, and project delivery
• Experience with tools like Procore or similar PM software
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specs, and submittals
• Strong leadership and communication skills
