Senior Human Resrouces Generalist

This role will serve as a key business partner to operations leadership and employees, supporting a wide range of human resources functions including employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, benefits administration, compliance, training, and HR process improvement. The ideal candidate is a hands-on HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is comfortable balancing strategic initiatives with day-to-day employee support.

Salary: $85,000-$105,000

We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Generalist to join our clients growing manufacturing organization. This role will serve as a key business partner to operations leadership and employees, supporting a wide range of human resources functions including employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, benefits administration, compliance, training, and HR process improvement.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is comfortable balancing strategic initiatives with day-to-day employee support.

Senior HR Generalist Responsibilities:

• Partner with managers and supervisors to provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning.

• Manage full-cycle recruitment efforts for hourly and salaried positions.
• 
  
• Lead onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a positive employee experience.
• 
  
• Administer employee benefits, leave programs, and HR policies.
• 
  
• Conduct workplace investigations and assist with conflict resolution.
• 
  
• Support performance review processes, employee development, and succession planning initiatives.
• 
  
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• 
  
• Maintain accurate HR records and reporting within the HRIS system.
• 
  
• Coordinate employee engagement, recognition, and retention programs.
• 
  
• Assist with safety initiatives, workers' compensation administration, and return-to-work programs.
• 
  
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and support continuous improvement efforts throughout the organization.
• 
  

Senior HR Generalist Education & Desired Skills:

• 
  
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• 
  
• 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• 
  
• Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, benefits administration, and talent acquisition.
• 
  
• Experience supporting both hourly and salaried employee populations.
• 
  
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• 
  
• Ability to build credibility and develop relationships at all levels of the organization.
• 
  
• Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• 
  
• PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
