    About the Role


    We are looking for a Senior HR Generalist to support our client's Port Canaveral facility of approximately 100 employees. This role will drive change and business results through strong relationship-building, influencing skills, and deep HR expertise. You will play a key role in implementing people strategies, supporting leadership, and ensuring a positive and compliant workplace.


    Key Responsibilities


    • Coach, guide, and mentor employees and managers to strengthen retention and development.
    • Implement HR initiatives in talent management, staffing, retention, diversity, organizational development, and performance management.
    • Align HR priorities with operational needs to deliver customer-focused support.
    • Lead recruitment efforts and build a strong pipeline for production, trades, technical, and supervisory roles.
    • Advise leaders on change management, leadership development, and effective communication.
    • Support managers with performance reviews, succession planning, and talent development.
    • Foster positive employee relations, ensuring proactive practices, open communication, and compliance with employment laws.
    • Handle employee relations activities including workers’ compensation, conflict resolution, counseling, interviews, and policy interpretation.
    • Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and internal policies.
    • Spend significant time (40%+) on the manufacturing floor to build relationships and address concerns.


    Qualifications


    • Bachelor’s degree required.
    • 5+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment required.
    • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
    • Experience in union environments and collective bargaining preferred.
    • Strong HR knowledge across talent acquisition, compensation, employee relations, leadership development, and organizational change.
    • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills.


    Work Environment


    This is an on-site role in a plant environment. Protective gear is required where appropriate. Flexibility with hours may be needed to meet business demands.
