Position Overview
The Sr. HR Systems Analyst will primarily support the Workday Benefits and Time configurations, including vendor data integration, while driving improvements to capabilities supporting our Total Rewards Center of Excellence. This individual will serve as a technical expert in Workday, helping shape the long-term direction, design standards, and roadmap for Benefits, Time Tracking, Absence, Leaves, and related capabilities. They will partner with HR and Total Rewards stakeholders to understand business needs, translate requirements into configured Workday solutions, and recommend improvements that strengthen process efficiency, data integrity, operational visibility, and scalable standard integrations.
A Day In The Life
Functional Area/Subject Matter Expertise
Serve as a Workday functional and technical subject matter expert for Benefits, Time Tracking, Absence, and Leaves, providing consultation on configuration, process design, data integrity, releases, and best practices
Translate business requirements and operational needs into scalable Workday configurations, eligibility rules, business processes, validation logic, and integrations that support accurate and efficient administration
Consultation and Project Leadership
Build relationships with and present to multiple levels within the organization, including senior leaders
Lead Workday configuration and enhancement projects from requirements gathering through design, testing, deployment, and post-production support, ensuring solutions are operationally sound, compliant, and aligned to business needs
Manage partnerships with Workday/3rd party consultants and internal IT teams to impact projects and provide solutions to meet specified requirements
Technical Capability
Configure, maintain, and support Workday Benefits, Time Tracking, Absence, Leave, and related HCM functionality, including eligibility, enrollment, time entry, absence plans, leave processes, calendars, calculations, notifications, and business process configuration
Apply strong technical judgment to troubleshoot configuration, integration, and data issues, validate results through testing, and ensure solutions are reliable and aligned to Workday design standards
Maintain deep knowledge of functional topics and emerging platform capabilities through Workday Community, release reviews, training, research, and industry best practices.
You''ll Come With
Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or Business-related field preferred
At least five years HR technology experience, with at least half of that directly in an analyst role
Previous Workday configuration experience required; success creating complex eligibility and/or validation rules
At least one Workday Pro Certification (HCM, Reporting, Advanced Reporting, etc.) preferred
Consultative nature with functional knowledge of core HCM data management, technical knowledge of EIB loads, and experience with standard testing procedures
Advanced Excel skills and successful execution of project management fundamentals
Must have excellent time management skills in projecting timelines and meeting deadlines
Exercises considerable judgment and discretion in preparing and handling information of a sensitive nature
Must be resourceful and have a customer-focused and solutions-oriented attitude
