    The Sr. HRIS Analyst (Reporting) role is responsible for transforming HR data into meaningful insights, creating intuitive visualizations, automating reporting processes, and supporting stakeholders with workforce analytics. While knowledge of Workday and other HR systems is beneficial, expertise in reporting, data modelling, data visualization, and analytics is considered critical to success in the role.

    Key Responsibilities May Include:

    • Analyze complex, high-volume data from various sources using diverse tools and techniques to derive actionable insights.
    • Develop and maintain high-quality standardized outputs, including visualizations and dashboards, that translate complex data into clear, business-relevant insights.
    • Respond to ad-hoc analysis requests by developing new reports or dashboards as needed, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
    • Support the ongoing delivery of regular KPI reports, maintaining accuracy and relevance to business needs.
    • Synthesize analytical findings into meaningful insights, presenting data in an easy-to-understand format for diverse business audiences.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their analytical needs, define requirements, and deliver data-driven insights that support decision-making.
    • Continuously seek to improve reporting processes by staying up to date on industry trends and best practices in data analysis and insight generation.
    • Provide technical support and training on analytical tools and methodologies to empower business stakeholders in their use of data-driven insights.

    Key Accountabilities

    • Design, develop, maintain, and continuously improve dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions for HR and business stakeholders.
    • Translate business requirements into intuitive, user-friendly visualizations and actionable insights.
    • Develop and maintain robust data models, measures, KPIs, and reporting standards using Power BI and related technologies such as Workday.
    • Support the delivery of global HR metrics and workforce analytics to HR Leadership, HR Business Partners, Centers of Excellence, and business leaders.
    • Automate and streamline reporting processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
    • Respond to ad hoc analytics and reporting requests within agreed service levels.
    • Analyze workforce data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
    • Support data governance, data quality improvement initiatives, and audit activities.
    • Identify trends, anomalies, risks, and opportunities within large and complex HR datasets.

    What You Bring

    • Proven experience developing reporting solutions, dashboards and analytics in an HR environment.
    • Strong experience in data visualization, dashboard design, and storytelling with data.
    • Experience analyzing large datasets and presenting findings to business stakeholders.
    • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into reporting solutions.
    • Experience working with stakeholders across multiple functions and geographies.
    • Experience managing priorities and delivering multiple projects within a fast-paced environment.
    • Experience of HR data analysis & good understanding of HR, Payroll, and Finance business processes as well cross functional interdependencies
    • Working knowledge of cyclical processes, e.g., Employee Engagement Surveys, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), Gender Pay Gap, Annual Performance / Salary Reviews, Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) reporting
    • Experience of managing priorities in a busy environment.

    Skills & Knowledge

    • Degree in HR Analytics, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, HR, Finance, or a related discipline.
    • Advanced MS Excel skills
    • Understanding of HR metrics and workforce planning concepts

    Desirable

    • Power BI development skills, including Data modeling
    • Experience applying GenAI, Prompts and configuring Copilot AI Agents
    • Experience with Workday report writer and data structures.
    • Additional qualifications in analytics, business intelligence, or data visualization

    Job Summary: The Senior HRIS Analyst manages Human Resource Information systems and supports HR processes through data management, reporting, system updates, and training. The role also involves evaluating HR technologies and collaborates with the Enterprise Data Analytics team to align HR initiatives with data driven insights and strategies. Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Data Analytics, or related field. Master’s degree preferred. Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) preferred. Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years of HRIS experience required, including experience supporting enterprise HR systems in a complex organization. Seven or more years of experience and healthcare industry experience preferred. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Detailed understanding of HRIS, reporting software and reporting formats in general. Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and other applicable software. Working knowledge of Human Resources Policies and Procedures. Working knowledge of HR employment, compensation and related laws. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal that present clear and concise information. Demonstrated ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities with competing deadlines. Ability to be detail oriented as might be required in the examination of numerical data. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Analyzes, designs and maintains Human Resources workflow and improves processes and data integrity, in accordance with requirements of human resources management and applicable Information Systems policies. Prepares standard and ad hoc reports for SFHS System HR Management by analyzing data to identify trends and providing actionable insights to include evaluating key performance indicators and offering both positive and constructive feedback to support informed decision-making and drive continuous improvement. Oversees the Employee Engagement Survey and maintains Organizational Publisher database relationships. Provides back up support and training of users on Workday system and time reporting policies. Acts as back up liaison with information services. Manages user access to HRIS system and develops and conducts related e-learning for SFHS as well as present at new management orientation. Provides end user support and training for HR information systems. Manages complex system configurations, ensuring data integrity through audits, and developing advanced reports for strategic decision making. Establishes and executes recurring audit processes to identify and correct data discrepancies before they impact payroll or reporting. Decision Making: Independent judgment in making decisions involving non-routine problems under general supervision. Working Relationships: Works with internal / external customers.
