Senior Healthcare Planner - Acute-Care Hospital | Relocation to Salt Lake City

Las Vegas is a great place to build a career. Salt Lake City may be the place to take it further. A well-respected Salt Lake City architecture firm needs a Senior Healthcare Planner to lead planning for a new, complex acute-care hospital in design, with relocation support to get you there.

You'll be the planning voice on the project, guiding clinical teams and leadership through the decisions that define a new hospital.

Your role

• Lead healthcare planning and programming for a new acute-care hospital and other complex healthcare projects
• Run clinical user-group meetings and stakeholder sessions, building consensus with healthcare executives and clinicians
• Collaborate with design teams in a Revit/BIM environment (planning-focused, not heavy production)
• Build functional and space programs, departmental plans, adjacencies and room-by-room plans
• Analyze clinical workflow and patient flow to shape efficient layouts
• Apply FGI Guidelines, licensing and accreditation requirements, and life safety and healthcare codes

What you bring

• Typically 10+ years of healthcare planning and design experience, with major responsibility on complex projects
• Significant hospital or complex healthcare planning experience (acute care is a strong plus)
• Degree in architecture, healthcare design, planning, interior architecture or a related field
• Architectural licensure, healthcare master planning, design-build experience, or ACHA, EDAC or LEED AP credentials are a plus
• Willingness to relocate to Salt Lake City, and authorization to work in the US
