Description

Position Overview: You will be a key team member ensuring workplace and facility safety. This role requires leadership skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead safety-related projects or processes of varying complexity.
  • Work independently with limited supervision.
  • Coach, mentor, and review work of junior professionals.
  • Support continuous improvement and safety automation initiatives.
  • Use advanced problem-solving to create solutions for safety processes or issues.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders through effective communication and negotiation.
  • Perform other safety-related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Safety or a safety-related field.
  • 1.5 2 years of safety experience.
  • Must live locally or within driving distance of the facility.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • ASP (Associate Safety Professional) certification.
  • CSP (Certified Safety Professional) certification.
