Job Description

Position: Senior Guidewire PolicyCenter Developer

Location: Louisville, KY (onsite)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Guidewire PolicyCenter Developer with strong hands-on experience in PolicyCenter Configuration and Integration. The ideal candidate should have strong P&C Insurance experience with knowledge of Personal and Commercial Lines of Business, policy lifecycle, rating, and underwriting.

 

Job Requirement:

7+ years of strong hands-on experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter development.

Strong experience in PolicyCenter Configuration, including Data Model, Product Model, PCF/UI, Business Rules, Workflows, Activities, Typelists, and Gosu.

Experience developing PolicyCenter Integrations using REST, SOAP, APIs, messaging, and Guidewire integration frameworks.

Strong experience with PolicyCenter Rating, rating rules, modifiers, factors, and rate tables.

Strong understanding of P&C Insurance and Policy Lifecycle – Submission, Quote, Bind, Issue, Endorsement, Renewal, Cancellation, Rewrite, and Reinstatement.

Experience with Personal and Commercial LOBs, such as Personal Auto, Homeowners, Commercial Auto, Commercial Property, General Liability, BOP, and Workers' Compensation.

Good knowledge of Java, XML, JSON, REST/SOAP, SQL, and databases.

Experience with Guidewire Cloud (GW Cloud) is required.

Experience with Guidewire implementation, upgrades, migrations, and production support is a plus.

Guidewire PolicyCenter-related certification is preferred.
