About Us
Alleyoop is redefining what ‘getting ready’ means. We make multifunctional makeup — products that pull double and triple duty — so a routine that used to take 30-60 minutes can shrink to under 10. We built the brand for women who refuse to choose between looking put-together and getting their morning back.
The Opportunity
Growth is at the center of where Alleyoop is headed next. We’re looking for a Senior Growth Manager to own our performance engine end-to-end — paid acquisition, creative strategy, measurement, agency performance, and conversion — and help take the business through its next stage of scale.
You'll oversee TikTok, Google, affiliate, whitelisting, and CRM partners while owning the metrics that tell us whether the entire growth engine is actually working.
You’ll work directly with our CEO and leadership team and have responsibility for communicating marketing efficiency at the board level. This isn’t a general marketing leadership role, and it isn’t a role for someone who built their career delegating paid media to agencies. We want a hands-on performance operator who grew into leadership and still knows how to get into the details.
What You’ll Own
Paid Acquisition & Performance
- Own Meta Ads end-to-end — media buying, strategy, budget allocation, creative strategy, optimization, and scaling
- Own performance measurement across paid acquisition, with a focus on blended CAC, MER, LTV, and marginal efficiency
- Oversee TikTok Ads through our external agency and ensure the channel contributes effectively to the broader acquisition mix
- Oversee Google Ads as a supporting channel while keeping Meta and paid social at the center of our growth strategy
- Make budget allocation decisions across channels based on incremental and blended business performance — not platform-reported ROAS alone
Creative, CRO & Conversion
- Build the creative infrastructure required to support paid acquisition at significant scale
- Partner closely with Creative to develop a high-volume testing and iteration engine across hooks, concepts, formats, and audiences
- Establish clear testing frameworks and early performance signals to determine what gets scaled, iterated, or cut
- Own CRO and Shopify performance as part of the acquisition strategy — you understand that growth doesn’t stop at the click
- Develop and prioritize hypothesis-driven conversion tests that meaningfully improve acquisition economics
- Connect creative and site performance back to CAC, MER, LTV, and the broader economics of the business
Agency & Growth Leadership
- Manage and hold accountable multiple external partners across TikTok, whitelisting, affiliate, and CRM/email
- Set clear performance expectations for each agency and evaluate partners based on measurable business outcomes, not activity
- Work directly with our CEO and leadership team on growth strategy, investment decisions, and marketing efficiency
- Own board-level reporting on acquisition performance and clearly communicate what’s working, what isn’t, and where we should invest next
- Lead and develop our internal performance resources while creating the systems needed to operate effectively at greater scale
- Bring performance signals back to the broader business to inform creative, customer experience, and growth decisions
Requirements
You Are
- A performance operator who grew into a leader — you learned growth by doing the work yourself before managing others
- A Meta expert who has personally managed meaningful budgets and understands what changes when spend reaches serious scale
- Equally comfortable getting into the details of media buying and explaining blended CAC, MER, and LTV to senior leadership
- Creative-minded and analytical — you understand that at scale, creative volume and iteration can become the biggest constraint on growth
- Someone who thinks beyond platform ROAS and understands incrementality, marginal efficiency, attribution, and blended performance
- A strong agency manager who knows the difference between having weekly check-ins and actually managing external partners to results
- A builder who wants ownership of the growth engine, not just a senior title
- Someone who takes ownership — you don’t wait to be told what’s next
Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in performance marketing, paid media, acquisition, or growth roles
- Career progression that demonstrates hands-on performance experience followed by increasing ownership and leadership responsibility
- Deep, direct experience managing Meta Ads as a primary acquisition channel, ideally at $30K+ in daily spend
- Track record of scaling paid acquisition for a DTC, e-commerce, CPG, beauty, wellness, apparel, or other consumer brand
- Strong command of acquisition economics and performance measurement, including CAC, MER, LTV, ROAS, and incrementality
- Experience building and operating high-volume creative testing programs and using early creative signals to guide decisions
- Experience managing a team and/or multiple external agencies and holding partners accountable to measurable performance goals
- Experience with CRO and Shopify, including using conversion improvements to strengthen paid acquisition economics
- Experience with TikTok Ads, whether hands-on or through agency oversight, is strongly preferred
- Google Ads experience is valuable but does not need to be your primary area of expertise
- Experience presenting marketing efficiency and growth performance to executive leadership and/or a board is a plus
- Experience at a DTC or consumer subscription brand with a Meta-heavy acquisition model is strongly preferred
Benefits
- Compensation: USD $80,000 to $110,000 based on experience (negotiable)
- Clear growth path to Director of Growth
- Real ownership over a $150k/day Meta budget scaling to $500k
- We value ownership as much as results — we are looking for someone who has been an operator and knows how to lead without losing touch with the work.
- You’ll take on a genuinely meaningful scaling challenge: growing Meta from approximately $150K per day toward $500K while building the infrastructure required to support it.
- You’ll have full ownership across paid channels, agency performance, conversion, measurement, and growth reporting.
- We’re a high-energy, creative team that moves fast, tests constantly, and makes decisions based on data.
- Like our products, we’re ambitious, overachieving, and always juggling more than one thing at once.
- Direct access to the CEO and leadership team, with the opportunity to influence investment and growth decisions at the highest level
- Real visibility and accountability at the board level — your work will directly shape how we understand and invest in growth
- The opportunity to build the systems, team, and growth engine behind Alleyoop’s next stage
