"Are you a dynamic and passionate communicator, driven by a desire to make a profound difference in the lives of grieving individuals and communities?
The Highmark Caring Place is more than just a grief support center; we are a beacon of hope for children, teens, young adults, adults, and families navigating the profound journey of grief after the death of a loved one.
Our mission is clear: to ensure no one grieves alone by empowering individuals to find strength and hope through compassionate care, innovative programs, and meaningful connections. We are a mission-driven and value-based organization, dedicated to helping those who are grieving feel less alone and find hope again.
We are seeking an exceptionally motivated and empathetic Outreach and Education Coordinator to be a voice for the Highmark Caring Place in our communities. As our Outreach and Education Coordinator, you will be on the front lines, passionately spreading the word about the vital services of The Caring Place. Highmark provides millions of people with the security of quality health insurance
Our history of helping families and companies with their health insurance needs dates to the 1930s, when our predecessor companies were established to help Pennsylvania's residents pay for health care.
Highmark was created in 1996 by the consolidation of two Pennsylvania licensees of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association — Pennsylvania Blue Shield (now Highmark Blue Shield) and Blue Cross of Western Pennsylvania (now Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield). We are now one of the largest health insurers in the United States.
Highmark's officers and board of directors set the company's strategic direction and corporate policies. They are guided by our mission, vision and values.
