Job Description
Intercontinental Exchange is looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to join our Creative Services team. This is a seasoned creative who brings ideas to the table, solves design problems with a clear point of view, and delivers work that connects to the business and the brand.
The ideal candidate will focus on our brand-level work: flagship events, large branding initiatives, and the ongoing evolution of the ICE brand across its business segments. They will also contribute to the team's project queue, and will help shape how big creative ideas scale into everyday design solutions.
This candidate can explain the thinking behind their work, keep projects moving with little direction, and show up with polished, considered concepts that support what the business is trying to achieve. We are looking for someone who stays current with design trends, brings fresh perspective to a well-established brand, and understands how to balance innovation with consistency.
ICE takes a digital-first approach to marketing, so we are looking for a designer who understands the strengths and limits of digital channels and can speak the language of UX/UI, motion, email, and CMS, while also bringing strong print and environmental experience. This role reports to the Senior Operational Designer.
We value curiosity, ownership, and collaboration. You will have support from a creative leadership team that provides strategy and direction, and the room to bring your own ideas to the work.
Responsibilities
Solve problems and bring ideas forward
Arrive at kickoffs and reviews with concepts, options, and recommendations, not just questions.

Explain the creative rationale behind the work to stakeholders, leadership, and internal clients with clarity and confidence.

Lead brand-level initiatives
Work with manager on flagship events, large branding initiatives, and brand evolution work, from early concept through final execution.

Partner with the Senior Operational Designer on creative direction and design decisions.
Scale ideas for everyday use
Work with the production design team lead to translate brand-level concepts into templates, toolkits, and guidance the broader team can use.
Help production designers understand the thinking behind new creative directions, so ideas carry through to everyday work.

Communicate and stay organized
Scope projects, set realistic timelines, and keep stakeholders informed along the way.

Participate in kickoffs, brainstorms, and post-campaign reviews, and help manage stakeholder expectations.
Collaborate across teams
Partner with Motion Graphics, Web, and Email teams to bring campaigns to life across channels.
Work with the broader marketing organization to keep the brand experience consistent.
Strengthen our systems and processes
Help maintain brand guidelines, design templates, and shared assets so they stay current and scalable.
Recommend tools, processes, or resources that improve speed and consistency.
Explore emerging tools, including AI-assisted workflows, in ways that respect brand guidelines and company policy.
