Description

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with deep hands-on Golang development experience to build CLI tools, developer productivity utilities, DevOps tooling, automation pipelines, and developer infrastructure. The role focuses heavily on improving engineering productivity, CI/CD, automated testing, cloud infrastructure, and scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate has strong experience with Go, GCP, Cloud Run, Terraform, Docker, APIs, microservices, SQL, observability, and production support.

Job Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Golang-based CLI tools and developer productivity utilities.
Build automation pipelines and DevOps/developer infrastructure.
Design and implement unit, integration, container, contract, and E2E testing.
Improve CI/CD pipelines, engineering processes, and development toolchains.
Lead software development through the complete SDLC.
Conduct code reviews and ensure clean, modular, maintainable code.
Implement observability using logging, distributed tracing, monitoring, SLIs, and SLOs.
Provide production support and lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) following incidents.
Build secure, optimized Docker/container environments.
Provision and manage GCP infrastructure using Terraform/IaC.
Implement SonarQube or equivalent code-quality tools and Quality Gates.
Design scalable REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
Participate in architecture and system-design discussions.
Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree — Mandatory.
8+ years of overall software engineering experience.
8+ years of production experience developing in Go/Golang.
Strong hands-on experience building CLI tools, DevOps tooling, APIs, and developer infrastructure.
Experience developing developer productivity tools and automation pipelines.
Strong experience designing automated unit, integration, and E2E testing strategies.
Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with Docker and container security.
Hands-on experience with GCP, Google Cloud Run, and Terraform.
Experience with SonarQube or equivalent static-analysis tools.
Strong SQL, relational database, query optimization, and data modeling experience.
Experience designing scalable APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
Experience with production troubleshooting, monitoring, and RCA.
Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
This is a hands-on engineering role, not a management- or architect-only position.
