Role Summary

We are seeking a Global Product Manager / Senior Global Product Manager to support the strategic development, commercialization, and lifecycle management of Hologic's Women's Health diagnostic assay portfolio. This role will partner closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, Operations, Regulatory, Quality, Scientific Affairs, and Sales to translate customer insights and market opportunities into impactful product strategies and commercial initiatives.

The successful candidate will combine diagnostic market knowledge, analytical thinking, and strong cross-functional collaboration skills to help drive product adoption, market growth, and sustained commercial success across the Women's Health portfolio.

Job Expectations

• Product Strategy and Lifecycle Management
• Support the development and execution of strategic and tactical plans to drive product growth and market share within the Women's Health portfolio (including Aptima HPV assay, Group B Strep assay, and other products)
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support new product development activities and ensure alignment throughout the product lifecycle
• Translate customer and market insights into product requirements and recommendations that support product innovation and differentiation
• Represent Marketing on cross-functional core teams and contribute to product planning, prioritization discussions, and development decisions
• Support evaluation of new market opportunities and contribute to business case development for new products or product enhancements
• Assist in lifecycle management activities including product positioning, portfolio optimization, and product performance monitoring
• Market & Customer Insights
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative market research to better understand customer needs, laboratory workflows, and market trends
• Gather and synthesize feedback from customers, key opinion leaders, and field teams to inform product strategy and improvements
• Monitor competitive activity and support development of competitive positioning and differentiation strategies
• Commercialization

o Support go-to-market planning and execution for new product launches and product updates

o Serve as a point of contact for field-based representatives on product-related questions and support needs

o Partner with Commercial Marketing, Scientific Affairs and Market Access teams to support product launches, publications, and reimbursement strategies

• Performance Analysis & Optimization

o Monitor product performance including sales trends, market dynamics, and customer adoption patterns

o Support forecasting activities and help identify opportunities to optimize product performance and commercial outcomes

o Assist in managing the product lifecycle to maintain strong product performance and market relevance

• Stakeholder Engagement & Cross Functional Collaboration

o Collaborate with internal teams including R&D, Engineering, Operations, Quality, Regulatory, Scientific Affairs, and Sales to support successful product initiatives

o Engage with laboratory professionals, clinicians, and key opinion leaders to collect insights and validate product concepts

o Champion the voice of the customer within internal discussions and development initiatives

• Additional Duties

o Support other product management activities as assigned.

Key Qualifications

Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in life sciences, marketing, business, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. MBA preferred.

Experience:

• 4-7+ years of experience in product management, product marketing, or related roles within diagnostics, life sciences, or medical technology
• Experience working with clinical diagnostic assays, laboratory workflows, or diagnostic instrumentation preferred
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including R&D, regulatory, operations, and commercial organizations
• Experience supporting product launches, commercialization initiatives, or product lifecycle management activities
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data, financial performance, and competitive dynamics
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills

Additional Requirements

• Location: San Diego, CA; (4 days a week in office)
• Travel requirements: Approximately 20-25% travel including customer visits, conferences, and internal meetings

The annualized base salary range for this role is $133,300 - $208,400 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
