The Senior Analyst / GIS Staff role supports enterprise geographic information systems, applications, data, and integrations. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to critical utility operations by maintaining reliable geospatial information, supporting business users, and improving GIS processes and performance.
Position Overview
Fusion HCR is seeking a Senior GIS Analyst to provide technical expertise across an enterprise ArcGIS environment. This role supports ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, Esri Utility Network, enterprise geodatabases, GIS applications, and related integrations.
The Senior GIS Analyst will maintain GIS data integrity, performance, security, and availability while troubleshooting complex application, database, and integration issues. The role will also develop SQL- and Python-based processes, support SAP HANA integrations, coordinate upgrades and deployments, and provide technical guidance to GIS users. This position serves as a GIS subject matter expert and collaborates with vendors and internal technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and administer enterprise ArcGIS environments, including ArcGIS Enterprise, Portal, and ArcGIS Online.
- Support and maintain Esri Utility Network and enterprise geodatabases.
- Publish and maintain web maps, GIS services, and spatial data.
- Develop spatial queries, data processes, and automation using SQL and Python.
- Support GIS integrations with SAP HANA and other enterprise applications.
- Maintain GIS data integrity, system performance, security, and availability.
- Troubleshoot complex GIS application, database, and integration issues.
- Coordinate GIS software upgrades, testing, configuration changes, and deployments.
- Support users consuming GIS data and provide technical guidance and training.
- Develop tools and processes to improve GIS operations and reporting.
- Serve as a GIS subject matter expert while collaborating with vendors and internal technical teams.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
- Four or more years of relevant GIS experience.
- Strong experience with ArcGIS Enterprise and/or ArcGIS Online.
- Experience with Esri Utility Network.
- Experience supporting enterprise GIS environments and geodatabases.
- Strong SQL skills, including experience developing spatial queries and data processes.
- Experience with Python scripting and automation.
- Experience with SAP HANA environments or GIS integrations with SAP HANA.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical capabilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
