Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Senior Functional QA for a Contract with a client in Hamilton, NJ. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience developing and maintaining automated test scripts, executing regression suites, and supporting CI/CD workflows using Azure DevOps.

Rate Range: $30/Hour to $37/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Senior Functional QA Job Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python, Java, Selenium, and Playwright to validate application functionality and quality.

• Execute functional, regression, API, and backend testing while identifying, documenting, and tracking defects through Azure DevOps/Jira.

• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams during requirement reviews, defect triages, and test planning activities.

• Perform SQL-based data validation and verify API responses, database records, and file-based data (CSV/JSON) for accuracy and consistency.

• Support CI/CD testing processes by integrating and executing automated test suites within Azure DevOps pipelines and analyzing test results.

• Leverage AI-assisted testing tools such as GitHub Copilot to enhance test case creation, automation efficiency, defect analysis, and overall QA productivity.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• 6-8 years of experience in Software Testing/Quality Engineering with a focus on test automation.

• Hands-on experience with Python and Java, Selenium/Playwright, API testing, SQL validation, and test automation frameworks.

• Experience working with Azure DevOps pipelines, CI/CD environments, and AI-assisted testing practices; Wealth Management or Financial Services domain experience is highly preferred.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $37.00 per hour
