We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performing applications in a cloud-based environment. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and AWS, along with experience in system design, microservices, CI/CD, and automated testing.

The ideal candidate is a senior-level engineer who can contribute to architecture and technical strategy while remaining hands-on with development. This individual will also provide technical leadership and mentorship to other engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications and technical solutions.
• Develop full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Participate in system design and architecture discussions and contribute to overall technical strategy.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Build and support cloud-based solutions leveraging AWS services.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Maintain high standards for code quality, scalability, security, and performance.
• Develop automated unit tests and support broader test automation initiatives.
• Support production applications and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve development practices, technical solutions, and operational processes.
• Participate in DevOps and CI/CD processes.

Required Qualifications

• 8 10 years of software engineering, application development, or related experience.
• Strong hands-on development experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong experience developing modern frontend applications using Angular.
• Experience with JPA and RESTful API development.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and system design.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-native application development.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases, including PostgreSQL and/or Amazon Aurora.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices; GitLab experience is preferred.
• Experience with automated testing and unit testing.
• Experience with application performance tuning and optimization.
• Understanding of software security principles and secure development practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and production support capabilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.

Experience with several of the following technologies is preferred:

• AWS: EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS, Fargate, Step Functions, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, CloudFront
• Monitoring: CloudWatch, Splunk
• Security & Networking: IAM, AWS security services, VPC networking
• Backend: Java, Spring Boot, JPA
• Frontend: Angular
• Architecture: REST APIs, Microservices
• Databases: SQL, PostgreSQL, Amazon Aurora
• DevOps: CI/CD, GitLab
• Testing: Unit Testing, Test Automation

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline with relevant professional experience. Equivalent combinations of education, technical training, and professional experience will also be considered.
