We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Full Stack Python Developer to join our dynamic team in Falls Church, VA.
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Python Developer to join our team. In this role, you will work on building scalable, high-performance back-end systems and integrating them with front-end platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, AI/ML experts, and DevOps, to ensure the seamless execution of our productâs architecture and functionality.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both back-end development and front-end technologies, with the ability to take ownership of projects and contribute to the entire development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and maintenance of back-end services, APIs, and databases using Python and related frameworks (Django, Flask, FastAPI).
Work on full-stack development by integrating front-end solutions with back-end systems.
Collaborate closely with front-end developers to ensure seamless functionality across the platform.
Design, implement, and optimize databases (SQL/NoSQL) for scalability and performance.
Participate in the design and implementation of cloud-based solutions using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Ensure code quality, security, and best practices through automated testing and code reviews.
Actively contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from design to deployment and beyond.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the stack.
Stay current with industry trends and continuously improve development processes and efficiency.
Requirements:
7+ years of experience in full-stack development, with a strong focus on Python and related back-end frameworks (Django, Flask, etc.).
Solid understanding of front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue).
Experience with RESTful API design and integration.
Proficiency in working with both relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) databases.
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Experience with version control tools (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
Nice-to-Haves:
Exposure to AI/ML technologies and integrating them into scalable solutions.
Knowledge of DevOps practices and cloud automation.
